We are seeking a Research Associate with a legal background who thrives in the intersection of law and immigration policy. You will be responsible for conducting detailed legal and procedural research to support EB2-NIW and related employment-based petitions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in legal analysis, especially in the U.S. immigration context.
Key Responsibilties:
- Perform quality legal research on topics related to EB2-NIW, EB1A, and other business plans based skilled visa categories
- Analyze case precedents, USCIS policy updates, and regulatory changes
- Have a deep understanding of ever-changing immigration laws of all major immigration destinations
- Draft research memos and summaries that assist writers and attorneys in petition strategy
- Stay current with evolving immigration laws and guidance
- Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to ensure factual and legal accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent)
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based immigration attorneys or legal teams
- Strong understanding of U.S. immigration law and the EB2-NIW category
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
- Proven ability to perform deep-dive research under tight timelines
